Vacancy

We are looking for an opinionated bioinformatician with a wide range of genomics data analysis experience. You will be responsible for the development of next-generation sequencing analysis applications in our platform. You will therefore have experience working with WGS and RNA-seq data. Having experience in statistical analysis of other high-throughput data types, such as microarrays would be a great asset. You will keep up to date with current bioinformatics methods and will identify and implement best practices and integrate cutting edge tools.

There is great choice of tools available today: assemblers, aligners, callers, normalization methods, etc., and you need to be aware of their strengths and weaknesses and help us choose the right ones for the job. Hopefully, you will have written a number of pipelines yourself, in Perl, Python, R, Ruby, shell, C, and are ready to roll up your sleeves and work on creating great tools and using them to integrate large data sets. If you agree with us that a better platform for bioinformatics is needed to help bioinformaticians get their job done easier and more robustly, you should join us!
