FastQC implementation in R?

I was told that there is an R implementation of FastQC, but I have not been able to find anything on it after quite a bit of Googling. I am currently using the bash implementation of the non-interactive version, integrated into my workflows. It would be nice to find an R implementation, partly due to the supposed ability to put the output into a PDF which I could then embed into my LaTeX as a figure. Anyone know anything about this, or am I on a wild goose chase? Thanks!

EDIT: I think I answered at least part of my own question, I found this page:

It made me realize that I can just embed the FastQC graphs (which are saved as individual PNG's) in my LaTeX PDF.
