Bioinformatics Posters Collection

Question

I am making a poster for the first time. Can anyone tell some of the depositories for bioinformatics posters in web so that I could collect some ideas on what makes a better one?

I would also appreciate suggestions/guidelines in making a bioinformatics poster.

Hi Do not put too much text! A lot of smallprint is scaring people off. Write your ideas short and precise, so it is easy to read. For results use plots/figures and for details use yourself! Posters with owner by its side have more value, you can explain the details about how you conducted a study, can get direct feedback and do networking.

That would be my personal very simple guideline ;-)

For poster design I used Inkscape, a vectorial graphics designer to produce SVG. So you will have no problem scaling it for printing.

Thanks a lot for the guideline as well as suggestion to use inkscape. Although I was planning to use Coreldraw, now I will switch to inkscape.

However, I found it problematic in inserting a table in inkscape. Do you have any idea??
