Bioinformatician - Marie Curie Very Experienced Researcher
NSilico Life Science Ltd. is an exciting new bioinformatics company based in Cork, Ireland. The company has made rapid progress since its inception over 2 years ago and as part of its expansion seeks to recruit an experienced bioinformatician. The successful application will be recruited on a fixed-term 15 month contract to work for NSilico on a European Commission funded Framework Programme 7 Marie Curie collaborative project with the University of Edinburgh and the Cork Institute of Technology.
The recruited candidate will be expected to lead the integration of bioinformatic tools into pipelines for the analysis and interpretation of prokaryotic and eukaryotic sequence data. The candidate will also be required to interface closely with academic and commercial collaborators within the confines of the project consortium but also within a wider context. Furthermore it is expected that the recruited candidate will actively seek new opportunities to build further on the project outputs and impact.
