Sort of a followup to So how big is bioinformatics? Well a lot bigger than I thought ...

For the first time in history we have reached 1 million unique users (generating 4.4 million page views) over the year long period ending on August 20, 2014. As of today we reach over 125,000 unique users per month.

We have also exceeded the 100,000 posts stored on the site.

To better illustrate the growth of Biostars we can look at the change over the month of August 2013 vs August 2014. We have almost doubled the number users, session and page views.
