Jonathan Eisen wants to compile a list of people doing bioinformatics for microbial ecology studies. Do you know any?

This was the original tweet.

If we get an interesting list of names here I will send the link to Jonathan.

Thanks for your help.

Dr Chris Quince from the University of Glasgow does bioinformatics on NGS data to determine microbial communities link text

Dr David Bass from the Natural History Museum London works on the biodiversity, phylogeny, and ecology of protists using NGS and bioinformatics link text. (The question didn't specify whether it was only bacteria).

Yes Chris is an excellent statistical bioinformatician. I've collaborated with him, and I suppose I count too: http://biowiki.org/IanHolmes
