Hi all,

I am new to bioperl though it looks powerful but I want to know how to add annotation a genbank file by appending to this file using GeneID of each sequence I have in another seperate file. All I have been seeing is how to get annotation I want to add annotation by reading the gene id from a file and match the one in the genbank file hereby appending annotation using bioperl. Please Advise. Many thanks.

The Feature Annotation how-to is a good place to start. Note: if you're new to BioPerl, you're not going to figure out this stuff overnight. Be prepared to read lots of documentation and try web search with some good specific terms for tutorials and code examples.
