Hi all,

I would like to introduce you to iPathwayGuide, a pathway analysis application that considers the type, position, role, function and interactions between the genes of each pathway to identify significantly perturbed pathways. As published with Genome Research, this approach (Impact Analysis) can identify significant number of false positive results that are generated using over-representation analysis. Additionally you can also perform GO Analysis with the application.

In addition to drugs and diseases, users can identify the SNP and miRNAs associate to the genes and pathways. Very soon you would be able to generate hypothesis on which miRNAs could be responsible for the gene expression regulation just based on differential gene expression data.

iPathwayGuide is FREE to use until November 15, 2014. We encourage you to register and leverage the period of unrestricted free use. Your feedback will be highly valuable for us. You can also join us Newsletter for updates and promotion.

I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Best,
Arjun Gupta

Does it support non-model organisms?

Thank you for your question Michael. Currently, it supports only human data. Hopefully, by next week it will also support mouse and rat. iPathwayGuide is in Beta phase and we are rapidly adding features based on the user feedback. Please register with us and check out a demo project. If you would like to see a specific organism or any other functionality in iPathwayGuide, please provide us your feedback and we will prioritize our development pipeline as per consensus.

I hope I was able to answer your question.

Best,
Arjun

We just released an update to this tool that now supports human, mouse, and rat.

The main analyses we now cover are:

  • Gene analysis
  • GO analysis
  • Predicted miRNA analysis
  • Pathway analysis
  • Over-represented Diseases

Accounts are free, and until Nov 15, the app is 100% free to use. Let us know what you think.

We released an update to the iPathwayGuide application that now allows for meta-analysis across various comparisons. The Meta-analysis allows you to see which, genes, pathways, miRNAs, GO Terms, and diseases are common or unique between your various comparisons.

Remember, iPathwayGuide is completely free to use and obtain results.
