Creating A Pharmacophore

Dear All,

I'm carrying out a research project about a chemokine receptor and its ligand. I'm studying interactions between receptor and ligand in order to perfom a virtual screening search.

At this purpose I'm trying to build a pharmacophore. How can I build a pharmacophore? Where can I get a tutorial?

Suggest you start by looking at AutoDock. Not because it's necessarily the best or most recent docking software, but because the website has a lot of documentation, tutorials and a reasonable community of users.

Also, never forget that the results of docking rarely bear much resemblance to "reality" :)
