Hi,

Can one plot a venn diagram in R, showing names of the objects instead of the numbers of how many are in each section?

My second question is can I plot two data sets in one venn diagram? Like to show the up and down regulated genes in one diagram!

THANKS!

You can probably do the first part in R, but it's going to take quite a bit of manual intervention on your part, I suspect. I don't know of a package that will do that.

For the second part, I think the limma venn diagram will do that as an option... Take a look at this or the manual Limma Venn Diagram

Not a real answer, but see older thread: Venn/Euler Diagram Of Four Or More Sets. As suggested by Ian you can easily use web tool jvenn (possible to change names as you want; export images; worked for me with 500k lines dataset).
