Hello all, I want to know, What should be included in a month course syllabus on next generation sequencing for absolute beginners? Beginners can be anyone from data analysts(non biology background) to PhD students. But for now let's just say the target audience is undergrad students, with little biology background.

Can you share something about your target audience? undergrads, graduates, postdocs, clinicians ....?

Analyzing Next-Gen Sequencing Data 2013 by Istvan Albert is the best I have found so far :)

This is good for absolute beginners as covers basic unix commands, file formats.

I was going to post that. I would also add this workshop with fully downloadable lecture slides and code which I found very useful.
