Hello, do any of you gurus know if there as an R module equivalent to the Cross-Gene Error Model (CGEM) (Rocke and Durbin 2001) found in GeneSpring?

The background correction and mean-variance estimation in the vsn package http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/vsn.html or the RMA method in the affy package might do what you need?
