siRNA knock out library and gene expression

Hi,

I am looking for a searchable resource where they have knocked out (by siRNA) one gene at the time in different cell lines, and measured its effect on genome gene expression. Does something like this exist?

Thanks!

I rather doubt that such a comprehensive database exists at this point. The costs involved for the experimental portion alone would be extremely high and it'd probably take a not so small international collaboration to get it done in any reasonable amount of time (not to mention to put together the funding).

Hi Devon, How about the price now?

If you are looking for a more general database of RNAi and associated phenotypes (search "rnai phenotype database").

Yes, such databases exist:

The genomernai.org/ was very nice, and the effect on apoptosis etc. is definitively relevant. Thanks!

Also for human cells (mostly HeLa cells): mitosys.org (updated version of mitocheck.org). For the mitocheck genome-wide RNAi screen, ~2000 siRNAs were tested by qRT-PCR (Supplementary table 1 of the paper).

I will try to be more specific in what i am looking for:

A searchable list; Where one gene at the time has been knocked out using siRNA, and you have measured genome wide gene expression data before and after adding siRNA. It can be for human cell lines in general, but breast cancer cell lines would be of particular interest.
