I am happy to announce that we have been able to get three members of the Broad Institute's GATK (Genome Analysis Toolkit) team over to Edinburgh to teach a 2-day workshop on "GATK Best Practices for Variant Discovery" on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 April 2015.
More information about this workshop (including how to register) can be found here.
Note that the workshop consists of 1.5 days of lecture-based sessions, followed by an optional 0.5 day hands-on session. For the lecture-based sessions we have 150 places, but for the hands-on session, which is specifically aimed at beginners, we have only 30 places. It is not possible to only attend the hands-on session.
