Hello, I know this is technically not bioinformatics, but I thought I should ask anyways. I am preparing a set of samples for the Affymetrix Human Origins 1 array. I've been told that my Nanodrop 260/280 values need to be 1.8-2 and 260/230 values need to be >1.5.
I have a few samples that are quite on the border of cleanness with 260/230 values between 1.4-1.5 (and two with 260/280 values with 2.06 and 2.005). I am perfectly fine with doing the prescribed ammonium acetate clean-up on genuinely dirty samples, but I was wondering if I really should bother cleaning these.
Have any of you had experiences with 260/230 values between 1.4-1.5?
Thanks!
