Can I use partial sequences for phylogenetic tree drawing?

Sure its a compromise but if the % identity is reasonably evenly distributed, extended partials (e.g. at least 50% of full length) position in the tree at least well enough to be informative (but probably better for orthologs rather than paralogs)
