Courses run from May 20 to June 26. Early registration rates apply until 1 month before each course but late registration with an extra $200 fee are possible right up until the course starts (space permitting).

Kindly update about the webinars or video tutorials of these abovesaid workshops. Are they available for the other students who are not able to attend these workshops

For nearly all CBW workshops, the lecture slides and videos of those lectures are released every year under a CC license. These are usually posted a short time after the workshops occur. You can see the materials from 2014 here: http://bioinformatics.ca/workshops/2014. The big thing that you miss from accessing the content this way is the practical exercises/labs. Instructors normally help students install software, provide data, and then walk them through analysis activities and answer questions as they go. This is very difficult to post online. So, if you want the hands-on experience try to attend a workshop!

These sound pretty neat, but what's the target level? Would someone who's been in bioinformatics for a while get something out say, the pathway and network analysis workshop? I know there's always tips and tricks that might be new, but it's hard to say if it's enough to be worth the cost. Thanks for posting!

We tend to get a mixed audience but with a slight bias towards the uninitiated. Many students may be using linux, scripting languages, R for the first time at these workshops. Having said that, we advance through a fair amount of content. So, if you are already a pretty handy bioinformatician but not familiar with the domain topic you will probably get a lot of useful tips, working code samples, etc.
