Hi all,
My data contains variants in sixty genes, which are previously found (in literature) to play a role in my phenotype. Our train of thought is that we have to account for the fact that a random SNP in this dataset is more likely to play a role.
My first thought was to account for this by changing my Family-Wise Error Rate (FWER) from 0.05 to 0.1.
I would love to hear your thoughts about this.
Best,
Robin
