Hi I am looking for orthologous transcription factors which are common in Mouse, Pig and Human. I was wondering if this kind of list is already available somewhere/someone has already documented this information somewhere. I also wanted to get the binding sites for these orthologous transcription factors (and whether they are orthologous or not). I also wanted to know if these orthologous binding sites share common motifs with the non-orthologous ones.

Be aware that most of transcription factors will recognize a few number of bases. So after visiting one of these transcription factor databases, you will be ending with your sequence being recognized by hundreds of different transcription factors at the same time, which is nonsense..

Since many transcription factor bind the DNA as dimers, I complement this study with the searching of palindromes or direct or inverse repeated sequences. I do that with programs like Dotlet
