I just want to run a fixed effect and a random effect meta-analysis using GWAMA. I have several files some of theme containing only males and some only females. I already prepared the input file as described on the GWAMA website:

Pop1.txt M
Pop2.txt M
Pop3.txt F

I'm not sure how should I run the two analysis. Would it be right if I use -i -o --sex for fixed effect and -i -o -random --sex for the random effect meta-analysis?

Thanks a lot.

Yes. According to the GWAMA tutorial:

--random or -r Use random effect correction. Default = disabled
