Which are free options for running OMA in a cluster?

Could you recommend some free software to use to balance the workload for running OMA in a cluster as recommended in the OMA page?

I tried slurm but got this error as soon as I tried to run an example batch (I couldn't even try OMA).

sbatch: error: Batch job submission failed: Unable to contact slurm controller (connect failure)

If this is your / your lab computer, just use OMA -n NUMBER_OF_CORES and do let anyone else use it while it runs OMA. If you have access to an third-party cluster, ask the IT staff which resource manager they installed.

If you are really managing a cluster, Torque+Maui is relatively easy to install and configure and does a good job.
