Hi guys,

I am biotechnology student and don't know a lot about bioinformatics. would you please let me know the difference between cloud based and local pipeline for RNA-seq data analysis?

Hi,

A cloud is basically a cluster of computers that you can work on when analysing RNA-seq data (or other tasks that are computationally heavy). Carrying out your RNA-seq analysis on a cloud allows you to use more computer power than when carrying out your analysis locally, thereby speeding up your analysis.
