A senior research scientist position is available immediately in the Bioinformatics Service Core Facility at the School of Biomedical Informatics, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Exciting work to plan, direct, perform, and report on bioinformatics analysis to answer biological questions in collaboration with experimentalists. Meets with collaborators to understand the project so that the appropriate analysis can be developed. Communicates the plan, methods, and results of the analyses. Keeps current with advances in technology. Decisions impact the success of the research project(s).
Primary responsibilities include: - Conducts experiments using advanced computational methods. - Determines feasibility of possible projects to ensure results addresses the biological question - Develops new software tools and algorithms for bioinformatics as needed. - Communicates complex technical issues to experimentalists - Communicates results by generating appropriate figures, text, and presentations - Presents results in a written paper for publication, in a presentation at a meeting, or through personal contact with faculty members and other researchers - Manage administrative issues relevant to analyses, including time tracking and billing - Supervises staff and students as necessary. Work with clients to provide bioinformatics input in collaborative grant development.
Doctorate degree with a minimum of six years' experience in a related research environment and have verifiable publications within the field of the research project. Hands-on expertise in LINUX/UNIX, microarray data analysis, next-generation sequencing data analysis. Strong verbal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide spectrum of clients in biomedical related fields. Strongly prefer Doctorate Degree in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

First of all you are asking the wrong question to begin with. No job ever has nationality requirements.
What you probably meant to ask is if the employer is able to sponsor a work visa. This again won't be stated on the job description as such and you won't get an answer for that either. Visa sponsorship depends on many factors and involves sensitive legal issues. Many academic employers will sponsor applicants if they cannot find qualified personnel but they won't advertise that on the job description nor will they respond here.
No offense was taken on my part at all. I was just asking for clarification, and I think that is what Istvan was trying to provide to make the point more clear.

I do not ask for applying. Sure any one can apply.I ask for getting short listed. In general, they do not take scientists if they have to sponsor, even if the scientist is competent.
