Genotype comparison in two samples with perl

How could I conclude the genotypes of two samples are different with perl script? Suppose that one genotype is a/b, the other is c/d.

If one is a/b and the other c/d then you know they're different, since "a/b" isn't "c/d". I assume, rather, that you meant to ask something else.
