Hi All,
the abstract structure of some journal included background, results and conclusions while some others also included method. Even some journal do not require structured abstract? Do you think which one is the best choice for a successful journal?
Changed to forum, somehow interesting but not a bioinformatics question. Engage in open-ended discussion....
you mean change to other website?
No, we can keep this discussion as long as we focus on bioinformatics, comp-biol. journals. It's just that I personally think this is not going anywhere, but that's imho. For a broader context, http://academia.stackexchange.com/ might be a better choice.
In my opinion the only way to learn how to write a good abstract is to read lots of papers. Do many journal clubs, and keep studying :-)
