Does mirna-seq is stranded?

I'm using miRNA-seq data retrieved from the TCGA project.

When looking on the aligned sequences it seems that all sequences for the same small RNA molecule are on the same strand (in contrast to most RNA-seq that the sequences derived from both strands due to PCR amplification), Am I right, does the data indeed stranded?

Thanks for your comment! I believe that is the case for the mirna-seq I'm using.

See this prior question for the answer.

Just a note, most modern RNA-Seq data tend to be strand-specific (at least they are for our group). Cost of generating strand-specific libraries is pretty equivalent to non-strand-specific ones.
