Hi all,

I am looking for a method/tool - I have 7 different disease groups and normal. What I want to do is find genes that are specific to particular disease groups.

Anyone familiar with a method?

Thanks in advance!

What data do you have on each group?

You'll need to define what you mean by "specific".

Hi guys,

Sorry wasn't too clear before. So what I need to find is that "groups of genes" whose expression is changing in terms of normal in one group and is specific to that particular group. And other disease groups don't share that same group of genes changing.

Any papers that might have done something similar??

Thanks in advance!!

Without knowing why you want these sets of genes, have a look at using limma and decideTests().
