Hi every one. I have 20 pair of genes and their expression data in terms of RPKM. I have extracted RPKM data from 15 different experiment for each gene pair. Can I do a co-expression study from this dataset? I just want to know whether in each pair genes are co-expressed or not. Can I use correlation coefficient for such study. If yes then what should be the cut off? I am new to co-expression study. Please help. Thanks in advance

Correlation sounds like a good way to start, you can calculate a p-value for the correlation and thus decide the cutoff
