Hi,

I want to use DiscoSNP to detect snp from raw reads.

I download and uncompress DiscoSNP in my ~/home/"my username". However, when I tried to compile, nothing happened and there was a message Unmatch `. I followed the manual thoroughly (which did not provide much details) and I don't understand why this is happening.

I'm not installing it on my computer but on a computing cluster where I'm a user. Is the problem du to this?

I would really appreciate any help.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. You don't need to be root to install discoSnp, the problem comes from something else. I never met the "Unmatch" problem.

Do you have cmake installed on the cluster?

What is your c++ compiler version?

Would you mind sending me exactly the commands you typed and the messages you obtained?

Pierre

HI Pierre,

Thank you very much for your attention. Finally, I was able to install discoSnp in the cluster where I work. I asked someone at my lab who know wells linux. I don't know exactly how he did but I'm now able to run discoSNP.

Regards,
Noppol.
