I have few SRA IDs and I want to know more about those samples, I need the paper or article/citations that contains these ids. How can I extract those details?
I have the following information:
BioProject: PRJNA279502
Abstract: Study of heterogeneity due to drug treatment
Below are the SRA ids that I am referring to:
- SRX980741 SRX980740 SRX980739 SRX980738 SRX980741 SRX980736 SRX980735 SRX980734 SRX980733 SRX980732 SRX980731 SRX980730 SRX980729 SRX980728 SRX980727 SRX980726 SRX980725 SRX980724 SRX980723 SRX980722 SRX980721 SRX980720 SRX980719 SRX980718 SRX980717 SRX980716 SRX980715 SRX980714 SRX980713 SRX980712 SRX980711 SRX980710 SRX980709 SRX980708 SRX980707 SRX980706 SRX980705 SRX980704 SRX980703 SRX980702 SRX980701 SRX980700 SRX980699 SRX980698 SRX980697 SRX980696 SRX980695 SRX980694 SRX980693 SRX980692 SRX980691 SRX980690 SRX980689 SRX980688 SRX980687 SRX980686 SRX980685 SRX980684 SRX980683 SRX980682 SRX980681 SRX980680 SRX980679
Doesn't look like there is a publication associated with this dataset. Also the submitter is only listed as "University of Edinburgh" so you don't have much to go on in terms of contacting someone directly. Perhaps you can email SRA tech support and see if they can provide you with a contact email address.
Thank you, I did mail them got a reply too.
I cannot be sure, but if I look at individual samples, it lists name of the submitter. Quick googling yielded this publication that led to GEO dataset GSE65615, which seems to contain at least some of the same patients (although it seems that only thing there not in SRA is type of cancer). On the other hand, is there email to the guy who should be able to help you.
