Hello: I am trying to install discoSnp++ version 2.2.4. I downloaded the source code (link to the binaries was not able to download them) and followed the apparently very straightforward installation process.

~/DiscoSNP++-2.2.4-Source $ ./compile_discoSnp++.sh Compiling discoSnp, from directory /home/hugo/DiscoSNP++-2.2.4-Source ./compile_discoSnp++.sh: line 39: cmake: command not found make: * No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

I have LinuxMint 17.2 installed as operating system with gcc version 4.8.4 (Ubuntu 4.8.4-2ubuntu1~14.04)

a "build" folder was created in the DiscoSNP++-2.2.4-Source folder, but nothing was placed in that folder.

I hope this problem can be solved. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello,

DiscoSNP++ requires that the cmake tool is installed on your machine (see the trace "cmake: command not found")

You have to install cmake first before building DiscoSNP++.

Perhaps try installing with conda: https://anaconda.org/bioconda/discosnp
