I am searching E2F target genes in human. E2F family has 8 proteins E2F1-8. I am interested all of them. Until now I searched for tons of literature to find a complete list of E2F target genes. The problem is the list is not complete. Every day I found each new gene which is controlled by E2F. Is there any database where can I find complete updated list of E2F target genes? Thank You
I used first two database but the number of target gene is far lower than those I've collected by literature search. But I got a large list of protein from last database. I am now controlling each of Target genes. Thank you very much.
Curse those biologists for continually generating new data :) Also - which organism?
Seemingly E2F is a family of TFs, not a single one, that might explain the multitude of targets. If you could focus your study on a specific factor, that might help your progress. Otherwise, what was asked before about TF-(BS) databases applies here too: http://biostar.stackexchange.com/questions/6507/best-database-of-transcription-factor-binding-sites
