I am looking for a source to download datasets to practice visualization in R, mainly Arc Diagrams. Where can I find such datasets?

What kind of data are you interested in? There are MicroArray data, DNA-Seq data, transcriptomics, proteomics, population dynamics data and much much more.

Most data sets are in a raw format, from which you need to deduce your entities' relationships.

You can have e.g. a look at the kegg database to see enzymatic interactions.

Hi Lazarus,

you may have a look at EBI Expression atlas, or NCBI's Short read archive, or NCBI's Gene expression omnibus. These sides provide either MicroArray expression files or sequenced reads. You need to process them in order to compute gene-gene interactions.

Cheers,

Michael
