A position of Research Associate is available in the group of Cancer Systems Biology (Head Francesca Ciccarelli) in the Division of Cancer Studies at King’s College London.
The group is currently located in New Hunt’s House at the Guy’s Campus and will be seconded to the Francis Crick Institute in late 2016.
The fellow will lead on the analysis and integration of cancer genomic and transcriptomic data to find novel driver genes and synthetic dependencies that can be relevant in cancer therapy. The fellow will work in a multidisciplinary team and the computational predictions will be validated experimentally using in vivo and ex vivo systems.
Recently published works from our group that are relevant to the project can be found below. A PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Quantitative Biology or equivalent is mandatory; strong background in statistics and previous experience with genomic data analysis will be favourable.
For further details, please contact francesca.ciccarelli@kcl.ac.uk
Deadline for application: 15/05/2016. Funds are available immediately. Feel free to contact the PI asap.
