I'm looking for a database where i can find full sequences of a gene that includes the exons, introns, promoters, enhancers, and all the goods . I'm trying Genbank but all i can find is partial CDS and full genomes . in particular, i'm looking for spider-silk protein gene with introns and promoter . . .
To clarify: it's not the case that there are databases with full, annotated sequences and other databases without. You will find full-length, annotated genes in GenBank (and Entrez Gene) if they exist and you use the correct search terms. Remember, it's always possible that genes from non-model organisms simply don't have much of this information.
