I would be interested in the Accessible surface area of an amino acid. Currently I am predicting ASA with SPIDER2 (http://www.nature.com/articles/srep11476) and to count relative ASA I use the values found on wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relative_accessible_surface_area) However these seems kinda wrong, because the relative ASA is 60% at max even at C or N termini.
Any suggestions?
I have same problem with biojava (Java library for bioinformatics). The relative accessible surface of some residues is more than 1.
