I download human genome reference sequence from this (chromosome 1). However, this gives whole reference sequence for Chromosome 1. But, I want only the reference sequence of forward strand of chromosome 1. Can anybody help me where can I found that or anyway to extract forward strand reference sequence from chromosome 1 of this. Thanks in advance.

pls, don't create new tags with typos in them. Otherwise you are lucky because genomic sequence is normally written in 'forward' direction.

The data that you link to contains only the sequence on the forward strand.

@Istvan Albert, Thanks a lot. "The data that you link to contains only the sequence on the forward strand" - But http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/hg19/chromosomes/ this says it gives chromosomal sequence. I could not find anywhere that it mentioned it is the "sequence on the forward strand". Sorry, I am very new in BioInfo, so have very less idea.

the reason only one strand is included is that you can always get the other via complementing it. It is true that this is not explicitly stated as such.
