Hey, I am using MEGAN to parse my blast report. So in each node, I see some nodes only have sum (and a number associated with it) but some have both ass and sum. When I try to extract reads, only those nodes have ass will extract reads. So what is the difference between sum and ass? Does ass refer to reads than pass the LCA parameters?
Please use appropriate tags. Your question is about MEGAN. That should have been a tag when you created the question.
