We have an exciting opportunity for a Bioinformatician to join our highly visible Watson Genomics team, responsible for building genomic solutions using the Watson technology.

Interested candidates should have a demonstrated background as cancer genomics expert, with proven experience in interpreting genetic aberrations driving cancer and therapeutics implications. Interested candidates must also be able to demonstrate a background as a data scientist and have good understanding in machine learning, statistical models and data modeling. Candidate must have demonstrated capacity to adapt to demanding and high pressure projects and adaptability to client’s needs.

This role combines demonstrated industry experience as well as the ability to apply advanced analytics and natural language processing concepts to address and solution complex challenges facing senior executives in the healthcare industry today.

As an IBM Watson Genomics Bioinformatician will:

Work directly with the team building new healthcare solutions using genomic analytics and serving oncologists and other specialists caring for cancer patients. You will help define, design, and build those solutions. You will be a genomic specialist for IBM Watson and need to work with the expert physicians from key cancer research and treatment centers. You will need to interpret and articulate requirements and feedback from clients to the leadership and development team, helping to prioritize and create solutions roadmaps.
