The Quinlan Laboratory in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Utah is looking to hire a talented postdoctoral scientist or staff scientist who has a passion for genomics and the study of human disease. This scientist will lead the application and development of computational methods to multiple ongoing studies of rare human disorders that each leverage the power of family genetics. For postdoctoral scientists, the goal will be to develop an independent research program from these studies. We are committed to building a diverse laboratory and we strongly encourage applications from female and minority candidates. We offer extremely competitive salaries and benefits packages, and the lifestyle in Salt Lake City is exceptional for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts. If interested, please email Aaron Quinlan and apply at: https://utah.peopleadmin.com/postings/52651

This position is still available and we are eager to fill it. It need not be filled as a postdoctoral position - staff scientist / analyst positions would also be considered. Pay is competitive, the department and lab are thriving, and the location is phenomenal.
