'Tangle plots' for phylogenies containing polytomies in R?

Hello folks,

I am working on comparing various phylogenetic methods and would love to produce some plots like the one shown below:

This is an example plot from the R package 'Buster'. Sadly, however, this package can only produce plots like this for perfectly bifurcating trees. As a number of my trees contain polytomies this means I am not able to use this method.

Are any of you aware of an alternative package or method for producing something like this? I would be very glad indeed if anyone knows of a way to do this involving more than two trees as well (up to 5 would be fantastic, think a pentagon with colour-coded lines joining the tree tips).

dendextend can do this.

Since more than one software packages may have the same name, it would be useful to provide a link for the software you are referring to when providing recommendations like this.
