Ok, so I came across this post today and none of the answers above were of any use to me, but I figured out what needs to be done.
This is for Windows 10 (who most Windows users will be using nowadays).
The critical thing is that you need a 64 bit version of java installed. And by version, I mean runtime, you do not need a development kit. The difference is a runtime runs java programs, and the development kit allows you to build java programs.
If you go to Java.com and click "Free Java Download" it will install the 32 bit version of the runtime. Do this, may as well have it.
To get the 64 bit version, you need to go to this page: https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and choose "Windows Offline (64 bit)". Download and install that.
To make sure you have the correct versions (32 and 64 bit) go to Control Panel and do 1 of 2 things:
1) Under "Programs" make sure you see 2 listings starting with Java. They will say something like "Java 8 Update 151" and "Java 8 Update 151 (64 bit)".
2) Open the Java control panel which you get via Control Panel in the "All Control Panel Items" view. Click on the Java tab and the View button. It should show 2 rows of installations, one being 64 bit.
Do this, and Mauve installs! Yay!
what have you tried ?
What is the exact error that you are getting?

On Windows you would need to go into Control Panel and make sure the variables below are set. Directions to do that are here.
Thank you for your kind reply. I forgot to setup environmental variable last time.I should not asked this(these kind of) silly question on these forum.Sorry. I won't do next time. I will try to ask really meaningful question.
