Hi, everyone,
I'm using Platanus to assemble a plant genome with a little high heterozygosity(about 0.8%). The software always give me the error report : K = 16, saving kmers from reads... Error(5): Kmer distribution exception!! Kmer distribution cannot be caluculated proper.
I have tried all the things I can do, but it still doesn't work. How can I solve this problem? Are there good examples or methods for heterozygous genome assembling?
Inconclusive prior thread with an identical error: Platanus error during assembly
