Hi,
I noted that some of my genomes are names with an NZ_ and other with NC_ identifier. What is the difference between them? Specifically, are NZ_ "complete" genomes?
But how can a genome be NZ_ and have status "complete" at this NCBI website: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/browse/ ?
I think that it's beacause NZ- means both complete genomes and unfinished WGS data (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK21091/table/ch18.T.refseq_accession_numbers_and_mole/?report=objectonly)
