Visualization of fasta and fastq file

I need good non-GUi tool (work with it through termial)to plot fasta and fastq file .i'm working in google cloud .

I imagine you want basic sequence statistics like GC content, and k-mer distribution... is this correct? Try FastQC. It promotes a GUI, but can also be in the command line (terminal)
