I am looking for a pathway (similar to IPA/ KEGG etc) for iron metabolism. I dot find such pathway in Ingenuity KEGG or any other general pathway data bases use. If some one has studied such pathway can they direct me to this pathway. I have to study enrichment of microRNA target mRNAs.

If you were interested in the genes/diseases with that phenotype in mind, you could explore the Platform for drug identification in Open Targets. You could search for iron metabolism, and find the diseases and genes where the search term matches to (at the moment we've got 222 targets associated with iron metabolism, only one based on 'Affected pathways' i.e. CP. You can also explore CP for more information including 'Pathways', with the one highlighted by @b.nota plus two others.

The hyperlinked 'Open Targets' should take you to this Biostars post instead.

How to understand the concept: iron biomarker measurement?

Did you try the REACTOME?

Think this qualifies as a correct answer. Btw, found http://www.genome.jp/dbget-bin/www_bget?hsa04978 as the top hit with google. What you choose as "iron pathway" is vastly arbitrary. You can extend this pathway to include:

  • iron uptake receptors and transport
  • iron containing proteins (include heme and heme binding proteins?)
  • iron storage proteins, e.g. ferritin
  • iron regulatory proteins (e.g. IRP)
