Hello there
I was wondering if someone could point to a resource where we can download validated somatic mutations as well as their corresponding alignments (bam files)
I found several repositories and databases (COSMIC etc ..) but as far as I know they don't offer location where to get the original data that served to get the mutations.
Thanks
Rad
any input on this question is more than welcome
Editing your original post provides a "bump" so it can reappear on the main page. You do not need to add a fake answer.
what ? I didn't add an answer so that the post reappear on the main page, I just wanted to refresh the question for some help what makes you think that ?
You added the
post above as an answer (perhaps not intentionally, but that is how it appeared on the site). I moved it to a comment against your original post.
Ok sorry for that, wasn't my intention, not a frequent user
How about checking the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) or European Variation Archive (EVA)? The latter is looking for a wish list from users, so you may want to fill out their 2-min survey.
