I have a few jobs that take all the limited resources that I have currently and it looks like I'm not working. So I generally work on reports for our cases, read a paper, or hit up Biostars.

What do you do if you have idle time?

I work on making my programs faster. If I have enough time to make it faster while waiting for it to finish, I kill the old version and restart it.
