Is there a different gene id(e.g symbol name) for a gene's exon , a gene's intron , a gene's promoter?

I've never personally experienced two different gene symbols for the same gene regardless of genomic feature, but one reason that you may get a different gene symbol between a gene's promoter and a gene's exon or intron is that there may be overlapping genes.

Something like:
