Hi guys,

What's the easiest to draw a circular map of a bacterial genome and highlight some specific genes or regions and put some coordinates/scale around?

Ex. Genome lenght is 2,500,000 bp and I want to draw it as a circle and highlight regions 1000-1500, XXX-YYY and so on.

Circos is too sophisticated for what I want to do and I have hard time understanding how I would do it with GRanges (still open to that idea if someone can point me the way).

Thanks,

TP

You can give a try to CiVi: User-friendly Circular Visualization for microbial genomes
